The overall objective of the Operation is to promote social inclusion and improving access for all to quality employment and education services.
The purpose of the Operation is to promote social inclusion of women and youth who are in poverty or at risk of poverty in the TRB1 Region by facilitating access of their integration to the labour market.

The expected results to be achieved at the end of the Operation are:
I. Vocational skills of women and youth who are in poverty or at risk of poverty in the TRB1 Region will be improved.
II. Institutional capacity of Fırat Development Agency, social partners, related institutions and universities to enhance the access of disadvantaged women and youth in the TRB1 Region to the labour market will be increased.
III. Wide range of people will be accessed through awareness-raising campaigns/events on women and youth employment issues.


Through the Operation;
• 2260 persons are targeted by services and trainings
• 24 institutional capacity building activities are targeted
• 1500 persons are targeted by awareness- raising activities
• 2 Scientific and Technical Studies shall be produced

Implementation period of the Operation, which is consisted of a service component, started on 27.07.2021.

The 4th Steering Committee meeting was held on 07.03.2024.

By the end of January 2024, following activities have been realised:

• As of the end of the project, it is expected to deliver vocational trainings to at least 620 persons and to organise counselling sessions to at least 560 persons within the scope of Intervention 1.1. and 1.2.

• Under Activity 2.3, for improving the capacity of FDA staff, 45 personnel have participated to trainings.

• Under Activity 3.1, Opening Meeting was held with 387 participants.

• Under Activity 3.2, “Women at Work Workshops” were held in 4 provinces with the participation of 233 women.

• Under Activity 3.8. “Organizing Career Fairs in Universities”, 300 students attended the fairs.

• Academic studies under Intervention 4.1. “Report on Employment of the Target Groups” and Intervention 4.2. “Study on Social Entrepreneurship and Cooperation Model” have been completed.

Project implementation period, which lasted for 33 months, ended on 25.04.2024.
