Aim of Operation and Outputs | The Operation for Promoting Lifelong Learning II (LLL-II) has continued to promote the development and implementation of strategies for lifelong learning (LLL) in Turkey to provide individuals with access to education for increasing employment opportunities and other opportunities in line with EU practices. The purposes of the Project; -To improve LLL opportunities through development and implementataion of coherent and comprehensive startegies for LLL, -To increase awareness regarding LLL, -To increase participation rate to lifelong learning. The service component of the operation was signed on 01.12.2015. Operation Beneficiary is the National Education Ministry- General Directorate of Lifelong Learning. The implemetation period was 20.01.2016-19.10.2017 (21 months). The base of operation is Ankara, but all the acitivities were conducted in pilot provinces (İstanbul, Eskişehir, İzmir, Antalya, Adana, Trabzon, Elazığ, Edirne, Kocaeli, Bursa, Kütahya, Afyon, Uşak, Denizli, Manisa, Isparta, Karaman, Mersin, Niğde, Samsun, Rize, Batman, Malatya, Erzincan). Project activities were realised on the base of 7 areas: 1. Policy and Strategies, 2. Programmes, 3. Cooperation, 4. Communication, 5. Guidance, 6. Qualifications for teacher, 7. Quality Assurance Within the scope of the project, the revision of the legal infrastructure arrangements for the facilitation of LLL strategies in MoNE, METEK institutions and other related institutions; Development of a selected 4 field modules in levels 2, 3 and 4 appropriate to the European qualifications framework, development of a web-based Lifelong Guidance Information System; Quality assurance system tools and indicators have been carried out. Within the scope of the grants program amounting to EUR 5.2 million, the project implementation period of a total of 36 projects was ended as of September 30, 2017. |
