Aim of Operation and Outputs |
ADAPTSD Operation was implemented by HAK-İŞ Trade Union Confederation. The overall objective of the Operation is to increase the adaptability of employers, employees and employees' representatives by investing more in human capital. Within this framework, the purpose of this Operation is to increase the adaptability, qualifications and competence of employers, employees and employee representatives’ through implementing training programmes and strengthening social dialogue between employees, employers, NGOs, public institutions and local actors. The Operation consists of one service and three supply components. Technical assistance component was signed on 12.02.2016 and started to be implemented on 18.04.2016. At the end of the project, 8.424 people have been reached and the following results are clearly defined in the specification. Result 1 Adaptability Capacity of HAK-İŞ and MÜSİAD was increased. This Result covered implementation of the Labour Life Skills Training (LLST) and Sector Adaptation Training (SAT) Through these activities 7,433 participants were achieved. A study visit to Italy was held on May 20-27, 2017 with a total of 14 people participating in this activity. Result 2 Capacity of HAK-İŞ in Policy Development and Lifelong Learning was increased. HAK-İŞ, the main beneficiary of the project, was planned to increase the skills and capacity in the field of policy development and lifelong learning and achieved. Through the advanced training program, 681 workers' representatives were trained. In addition, workshops were organized in the provinces where the project was active for union staff and leaders from HAK-İŞ and HAK-İŞ members. 339 union managers and experts from trade unions affiliated to HAK-İŞ participated in the workshops of Union Managers and Specialists, which are expected to reach 190 people in 7 provinces. In order to ensure the sustainability of the project, for HAK-İŞ, policy development support and consultancy was provided through national and international experts. Within the scope of the project, the 2nd Study Visit was held on 1-7 October 2017 in Sweden. 8 people from HAK-İŞ and 8 from MUSIAD participated in this program. Result 3: Public Awareness on the importance of improving the adaptability, qualifications and competence of employers, employees’ representatives were increased. In this context, visibilty activities have been conducted such as project opening and closing conferences, logo related to the project, preparation of related visuals, preparation and distribution of promotional materials and establishment of a website for the project In addition, the project outputs are intended to be printed and distributed in books and reports. In addition, a publication called, INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS GUIDE containing the experiences gained during the project implementation period was prepared and printed by 40 thousand employees and delivered to workers, employers, public institutions, institutions and individuals. The Lifelong Education and Research Center has been established in Ankara within the HAK-IS Confederation with the purchase of 3 Lot of supplies, which is intended to ensure the sustainability of the project and consists of IT equipment, Furniture and Construction. |
