Aim of Operation and Outputs

The overall objective of this Operation is to promote investment in human resources by increasing the quality of VET and improving the linkage between the labour market and education. The service project was commenced on May 2012 and finalized on May 2015.Within the scope of the Service Project, 22 occupational maps and 91 draft occupational standards for levels 4 and 5 were developed to increase the quality of VET prior to curriculum development. Furthermore, draft training standards, framework curricula, course specifications, module specifications and related curriculum analysis documents in 13 fields and 14 branches were developed and submitted to MoNE and the Council of Higher Education (CoHE). Over 19.000 people were participated in conferences, workshops, working groups, trainings and other activities related to VET during the Operation lifetime and a report on quality assurance systems in Europe, reports of the pilot implementation of VET Quality Development System, a report regarding the revision of VET legislation, a report about best practices of EU Member States on pedagogical, professional competencies of VET teachers and a report on the quality of in-service training system were prepared.


Within the scope of the supply component,

Equipment under 8 lots;

-laboratory equipment (Lot 1);
-farming equipment (Lot 2);
-fishing and navigation equipment (Lot 3);
-medical training equipment (Lot 4);
-IT equipment (Lot 5);
-office furniture (Lot 6);
-fire protection equipment (Lot 7);
-mechanical manufacturing equipment (Lot 8);

were supplied and delivered to vocational high schools.
